Leading international photographers have joined forces to launch a new transatlantic picture agency operating in the UK, USA and Canada.
Atlantic Images will be working directly with high-profile individuals, brands and creative media agencies providing them with PR, editorial and corporate imagery.
The agency intends to use clever branding and innovative product placement for clients while still maintaining editorial integrity. The team will target a wide variety of impactful media outlets with high-quality images and stories tailored to specific audiences. As a boutique agency, this attention to detail will set the company apart from its rivals.

Founders Christopher and Peter Whittle have vast experience in the photography industry, providing international publications, broadcasters and websites with imagery from the UK and USA for over 20 years. The brothers will run the agency from London and Vancouver, respectively, with a team based out of Los Angeles.
The Whittle brothers have worked in-house with leading event organisers, companies and their brands, such as the Academy Awards, Golden Globes, Simon Cowell’s Syco Entertainment production company, Sony Music Entertainment, AMC’s The Walking Dead, and most recently, J.K. Rowling’s digital publishing house Pottermore for the launch of her new book: Harry Potter and The Cursed Child.

Co-founder Christopher Whittle says: “With a growing team of contributors, we recognise talented people as our most important asset. As photographers ourselves, we understand the hard work that goes into producing quality images and our mission is to simply make content work harder.
“We have identified several emerging platforms which will better monetise content where it has proven difficult for other larger agencies to expand into.”

One such platform is consumer website Celebrity WotNot that will position entertainment photography and stories from Atlantic Images in a positive and engaging way. Celebrity WotNot will create a new dimension to the traditional picture agency product of still and moving pictures when it is officially launched later this year.
As a member of the highly-respected National Association of Press Agencies, Atlantic Images will also provide content across all editorial genres using traditional, digital and social media platforms.
Using state-of-the-art distribution technology, contributors are able to upload, keyword and distribute to territories via a simple one page process. This content management system will also benefit corporate and PR clients, who will be able store, view projects and download content quickly.
